Sefer Chatam Sofer, on Sugiyot HaShas, section II on tractate Pesachim and Shulchan Aruch on Hilchot Pesach (Simanim 429-447) and Perek Eizehu Neshech, by the Gaon Rabbeinu Moshe Sofer of Pressburg, author of the Chatam Sofer. 

First edition "מעצם כת"י קדשו ע"י אהרן שמחה בלומענטהאל"  – Jerusalem, 1894. [1], 50 leaves. In the National Library, a single copy appears in the Rare Book Collection. Title page with red lettering. This copy is with the rare cover on pink paper. Letter of approbation by Rabbi Shlomo Sofer Av Beit Din of Bergesas.

Fine, new semi-leather binding. Fragile paper. Varied tears, mostly not affecting the text. Stains. Some moth perforations. Good overall condition of most of the book. 

On the flyleaf, 3 handwritten signature: "ה"ק שבתי שעפטיל ווייס [מפ"ב -(מפרשבורג)] חופ"ק שימאני והגליל יצ"ו" and several of his stamps with an identical notation, All this indicate that the copy was owned by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Shabtai Sheftil Weiss (1866-1943) the son of Rabbi Yeshaya Yissachar. Served as Av Beit Din of Shimony, Hungary. Was renowned as a wonder=worker and Gaon. Author of Hilcheta Ravta LeShabbta on Hilchot Shabbat and Tehillot Shabtai on Tehillim. The brother of the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Weiss author of Elef Ketav, Siach Yitzchak and more.
