Rare – first edition of Sefer Olat Chodesh Hashlishi, eulogies and Drushim by the Gaon Rabbi Elazar Fleckeles, a leading disciple of the Nodah BiYehuda, with a dedication handwritten by the author – Prague, 1793. 

On the title page of the book, a dedication handwritten and signed by Rabbeinu the author Rabbi Elazar Fleckeles: דורון הוא לידיד נפשי הבח’ המופלג… באמבעריץ ביום חתונתו וביום שמחתו מאתי המחבר אלעזר פלעקלס".

The book itself is extremely rare and has been seen only once in auctions with a photocopied title page.

To some leaves, a blemish of scorching at the edge of the leaf, affecting the text. Partly detached binding. Fair-good condition. 

The Gaon Rabbi Elazar Fleckeles (1754-1826), a leading disciple of the Nodah BiYehuda. Was a Dayan then Rosh Av Beit Din of the Beit Din of his famed Rav, the Nodah BiYehuda. Author of Shut Teshuva MeAhava, three sections. In his memory, Rabbi Yom Tov Spitz published the book Sefer Zichron Elazar in Prague in 1827.
