Sefer Yirat Shamayim, "תוכו רצוף אהבת הלומדים שכלתה נפשם לידע ולהבין דברי רבינו הגדול הרמב"ם ז"ל בהלכות קדוש החודש", two sections [each with a separate title page] by Rabbi Meir Firda. Bound with Sefer Luchot HaIbur, on the Moladot, Tekufot and Likuy Chama and Levana, by Rabbi Raphael Halevi of Hanover. originally printed and bound together – single editions, Dessau 1820-1821 – large, folding plate with sketches at the end of the book. 

Appearing on the title page of the book is the stamp of Rabbeinu the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer Av Beit Doin of Krakow, the son the Gaon Maran the Chatam Sofer: "הק’ שמעון בהגאון מהר"ם סופר אב"ד דק"ק קראקא יע"א" . On leaf 45, a handwritten gloss – has not been studied. 

Additional owner’s signature:  "הק’ אהרן פויסט מעיר קראקא".

Moth perforations. A tear to the corner of the first foreword leaf, affecting the text. Old, original binding, worn and detached.Good condition. 

the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Sofer (1821-1883) the son the Gaon Maran the Chatam Sofer. Served as Av Beit Din of Mattersdorf and later as Av Beit Din of Krakow, by the recommendation of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. Founded the Machzikei Hadat journal with the Admor Rabbi Yehoshua of Belz. The holy Rav of Gustinin said of him "אב"ד קראקא ירש את כל החבילה מאביו החת"ס". Jews and non-Jews revered him and even the Austo-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph gave him a decoration as a token of appreciation.
