Sefer Brit Menucha by the Kabbalist Rabbi Avraham of Granada, one of the first and foremost Kabbalists of Spain who lived in the 14th century. Of his book Brit Menucha, the Divine Kabbalist the Ramak said: "בוודאי היותו דברי קבלה מפא"פ!! או מפי מלאך שאינם דברים מושגים ברוב עיון ודקות השכל".

First edition – Amsterdam, 1648. 40 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. At its end, Kabbalistic illustrations. On the title page, Rabbeinu the author cites the holy Ari who said of him: "כי מי שעשה ספר ברית מנוחה היה חכם גדול ונאמן…" he also says that the publisher did not know who authored the book until he found in another kabbalistic book a reference to it: "רבינו רבי אברהם מרימון הספרדי בספר ברית מנוחה שלו… כי כל דבריו הם דברי רוח הקודש עכ"ל".

On leaves 18-19, Rabbeinu reveals some of the Segulah of the ninth hour on the ninth day of the ninth month- the 9th of Kislev, thus being the source of this Segulah.

Old embosses binding. Healthy paper. Some taping. Stains, mostly minor. Some tears to the edge of the text (see picture). Very good overall condition for such an ancient and rare book.

On the title page, an ownership notation in Italian script: "שלי יצחק רפאל פינצי" – apparently referring to Rabbi Yitzchak Raphael Finzzi (1728-1813) a leading Italian Rabbi. Was the disciple of Rabbi Yitzchak Lampronti, author of the Pachad Yitzchak. Was one of the rabbis Napoleon summoned to be part of the Sanhedrin in Paris in 1786. In his old age, served as Rosh Av Beit Din of Padua.

Inside the book, varied handwritten notations.
