Lot 93:
Typewritten letter by the Rebbe on official stationery from the 9th of Nissan 1988. Appearing at its beginning, after "שלום וברכה", is a long word handwritten by the Rebbe; we could not figure out what was written, possibly "והחוברות"? Our important clients are invited to look at the enclosed pictures and try figuring out what was written by the Rebbe.
The letter contains blessings for the upcoming Passover: "ולקראת חג המצות, זמן חירותנו, … הנני בזה להביע ברכתי לחג כשר ושמח ולחירות אמתית, חירות מזאגות בגשם ומדאגות ברוח… ולהמשיך מחירות ושמחה זו בימי כל השנה כולה…. בברכת החג" – the Rebbe’s handwritten signature.
The edges of the letter are trimmed and it contains the text only. Stains. Mounted on color paper.
