Handwritten notebook with a Jewish calendar that was written under the communist rule. A Jew secretly wrote down all the important Hebrew dates: Sabbath and Yom Tov, Rosh Chodesh, the New Moon, Seder Hoshanot, Parashiyot of the week, Ta’aniyot Tzibur and additional important information.
Yiddish and Russian. 25 written pages. The calendar is for 1967-8 and was apparently written in the previous year. Under the communist rule. 16.5X10.5 cm. The original binding leaf is detached. Good overall condition.
