Lot 51:
Sefer Tfilat Chaim, "יאיר נתיב על שבעה מקורי התפלות אשר תקנו אנשי כנסת הגדולה…", by Rabbi Chaim Reuven Rubenstein. Apparently a single edition in the author’s lifetime – Vilna, 1913. Section II: [2], 95, [1], XII pp. At its end references: "מראה מקומות המקורים מספרי הרופאים" – in German.
The book received a rare approbation by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Rosen of Rogatchov Av Beit Din of Dvinsk. In addition, the book contains correspondences between him and the author. In some of them the Rogatchover, untypically, responds at length, indicating the author’s genius and his ability to keep a level head with the famed Gaon. Additional approbations by Rosh Av Beit Din of Pressburg rabbi Akiva Sofer and more.
Unraveling at the connection of the binding. Stains. Tears to the last leaf. Good overall condition.
