Extremely rare – two books on Shechitah, printed in Novi Dvor – have not been seen in auctions!
1. Sefer Lekitat Yitzchak – Piskei Halacha on Dinei Shechitah – by Rabbi Yitzchak ben Eliezer Shochet and Bodek from Hungary – first edition Novi Dvor, 1805.
This is the first edition of the book, which was eventually titled Ohel Yitzchak and had numerous editions.
On the leaves of the book, many handwritten corrections (possibly by the author himself, editing the book to be reprinted?). 29 leaves. Moth damage, mainly to the margins and the end of the book. Good condition.
2. Sefer Zevach Shmuel – Hilchot Shechitah – Rabbi Shmuel ben Moshe of Lisa – Novi Dvor, 1791. 32 leaves. Wear and cut leaves, affecting the text. Fair-good condition.
