Sefer Ahavat Yonatan, novellae and commentary on the Haftarot, by the great Gaon Rabbi Yonasan Eibeschutz – First Edition Hamburg, 1766. [2], 92, [3], 16, 53, [1] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection (see there, missing pagination; possibly, the copy there is incomplete).
An additional title page for the commentary on Megillat Eicha titled Alon Bachut and the commentary on the Haftarot of Sheva DeNechemta. The year on the title page is 1765. Edited by Rabbi David ben Rabbi Yosef of Ediburg who wrote the forewords of the two sections.
Fine new binding. Stains. The first title page and several additional leaves are restored. Taping to the second title page. Good overall condition.
