The forbidden book – Derech Yam – novellae on tractate Me’ilah – by Mordechai Nachman Stiglitz of Melitz – first edition, Munkatch, 1900.
With an approbation by the Admor Rabbi Yehoshua of Djikov, the author of the Ateret Yeshuah. At the end of the book, a lengthy responsum, practically an entire composition, by the Admor the Ateret Yeshu’ah.

Mordechai Nachman Stiglitz, a Djikov Chassid, was a Talmid Chacham who changed direction and moved to study at the Berlin Unversity. Subsequently, his Rav the author of the Ateret Yeshu’ah, ordered not to study his book Derech Yam!!! The Djikov Chassidim even moved from synagogue to synagogue to remove the book and destroy it!!
