Sefer Torei Zahav on Hilchot Ribit – by the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Hornostaipil – first edition Jerusalem, 1936.
The Admor of Hornostaipil, alongside the magnitude of his sanctity, was famed since childhood as an Iluy and Gaon. Maran the Divrei Chaim chose him as his daughter’s bridegroom without even seeing him! When he was asked by his family how he could choose a bridegroom without seeing him first, Maran the Divrei Chaim answered: "יודע אני שחתני מאיר שכשמש בשמים לומד תורה לשמה".
The book was published by the Admor Rabbi Yehuda Leib Twersky of Hornostaipil, the author’s son, who blesses, in his foreword of the book, anyone who purchased it: "ובברכה כפולה ומכופלת אברך את כל מי שיקנה הספר הנוכחי וזכות כ"ק אאמו"ר הרה"צ זצ"ל תעמוד לו להיות מבורך בשפע טוב ורוב ברכה ושיזכה לראות בנים ובני בנים עוסקים בתורה ובמצוות".
