Sefer Kranor Hamizbe’ach, an interesting, original book. 140 ways to explain the KUshiyot of the Tosfot on the Sugya of מין במינו לא בטל בדם הפר ודם השעיר of Avodat Yom Hakippurim. By Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Zvi Hirsch Zilberstein Av Beit Din of Several Polish communities and later of Toronto, Canada, grandson of the Tiferet Shlomo of Radomsk (appearing on the title page is his pedigree).

First and apparently single edition (a facsimile edition was published) and in the author’s lifetime – Bilgoray, 1927. 13, [19], 366, [1] pp. In the National Library, the Book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Many approbations by the Geonim Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook, Rabbi Eliyahu Kletzkin of Lublin, Rabbi Meir Shapira of Piotrkow-Lublin and more. Some of them lengthy.

Some detached leaves. Loose front board. No spine. Tears to the edges. Some moth damage. Good overall condition.  

On the title page, the author’s stamp and alongside it, another stamp: "אשר זאב ורנר אב"ד ור"מ בעה"ק טבריא ת"ו והגליל" – the Gaon Rabbi Asher Ze’ev Werner (1894-1958)  the son of Rabbi Simcha Bonim. A kabbalist and posek, served as Av Beit Din of Tiberius from 1934, after the passing of Rabbi Moshe Kliers. He also served as Rav of the Poalei Agudat Yisrael party in place of Rabbi Meir Karlitz. In addition, he was also a member of Mo’etzet Gedolei HaTorah of Agudat Yisrael.
