Letter handwritten in the pearly script of Rabbi Dov Yitzchak Rabinowitz Av Beit Din of Vaslui, addressed to Rabbi Menachem Mendel Babad Av Beit Din of Gura Humora, about the Kashruth of a millstone of flour for Passover of Rabbi Yaakov Yosefovich – Vaslui, 1921.
"בעצמי הייתי אצל התחנה והוואגאן עם הקמח של פסח הנ"ל" the Hechsher letter was sent to Rabbi Menachem Mendel Babad Av Beit Din of Gura Humora. In the letter, Rabbi Rabinowitz informs that a wagon was sent from Vaslui with flour that was ground under his supervision with two signatures – "ונא להודיענו אם כן בא הוואגען סגור וחתום כראוי".
Interesting letter pertaining to the history of the Kashruth and Psikah of Romania.

Rabbi Dov Yitzchak Rabinowitz Av Beit Din of Vaslui (1895-1983) succeeded his fathers in Vaslui and later, as rav of Radovich. In 1938, was appointed Av Beit Din of Piatra Neamţ, by the request of Rabbi Shmuel Tobias author of Yelamed Anavim. Some of his Divrei Torah were printed in Sefer Shut HaRabaz by Rabbi Bezalel Ze’ev Shafran of Bacău.
