Tractate Nazir of the Bavli Talmud with the Leket Hakotzrim commentary by Rabbi Pinchas Michael Grosslit Av Beit Din of Antipolia. Special printing with a different pagination and without Rashi and Tosfot. The author wrote his commentary on single tractates, the first of them being Nazir. In 1885, he published his commentary on tractates Tmurot and Me’ilah. Printed at its end, novellae by Rabbi Pinchas Shmuel PInes of Vobolnik.
First ediiton – Vilna, 1866. [1], 79 leaves. Small format. Stains. Moth perforations and damage. Loose front board. Fair overall condition.
On the title page and flyleaf, exciting stamps: "אוצר הספרים של ישיבת ‘עץ חיים’ דולאזין". Indeed, this item is an exciting remnant of the glorious past of what was known as The Mother of the Yeshivot – the famed Volozhin Yeshiva founded by the Tzaddik Gaon, the leading disciple of HaGra Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, the author of the Nefesh Hachaim.
