Kuntres Beit Yisrael, Hitorerut and Mussar, by Maran Tabbi Yisrael Meir Hacohen, the Chafetz Chaim – the last book by Rabbeinu, which he authored in his old age – first edition, Piotrkow, 1928.
"לזכות את ישראל" Rabbeinu’s entire life was dedicated to providing for the Jews. Rabbeinu felt the pain of dispute and Loshon Hora, the Chilul Shabbat that was caused unintentionally and the pain of the soldiers who were forced to join foreign armies in Europe. On every subject, Rabbeinu used to hurry and print what should be done. This book is the last one published by Rabbeinu, approx. five years before his passing in 1933. The KUntres contains words of Hitorerut for observing the Mitzvot Keri’at Shema and Tfilah, Shabbat, Taharat Hamishpacha and more.
