Shut Bikurei Shlomo, halachic correspondence with leading rabbis from Eretz Yisrael and abroad, on the four parts of the Shulchan Aruch, section I, by the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Avraham ben Rabbi Daniel Ze’ev Razechte of Ozarkov. 

First ediiton in the author’s lifetime – Piotrkow, 1894. 10, 5-174 leaves. The book received many approbations from leading contemporary rabbis including the Admorim: the author of Avnei Nezer of Sochatchov, Rabbi Yechiel of Alexander, Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor of Kovno, Rabbi Yosef Dover Halevi of Brisk, the Aderet, the Sdei Chemed and many more. 

Detached binding. Good overall condition. 

At the beginning of the title page, a dedication handwritten by the author, addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Berlin: "הגאון המובהק סיני ועוקר הרים צדיק… חיים ברלין שליט"א… ויזכה להגות בו מתוך הרחבה, מנאי המחבר". In addition, on the lower part of the title page, the author’s stamp. Additional stamps of the second owner of the book, the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Berlin.  

The receiver of the dedication: Rabbi Chaim Berlin of Volozhin was the son of the Natziv. He served as Chief Rabbi of Moscow, and as the most famous Rosh Yeshiva in the world, of the Volozhin yeshiva (known as the Mother of Yeshivot). In 1906 he immigrated to Jerusalem, and after the passing of Rabbi Shmuel of Salant he became leader of the Ashkenazic community of Jerusalem, even though he refused the official position.

The author, writer of the dedication: Rabbi Shlomo Avraham Razechte, the Gaon of Ozarkov (1843-1928) the son of Rabbi Daniel Ze’ev. One of the Geonim of Poland and a leading contemporary Meshiv.
