Impressive binding. A large volume. Stains and creases. Red edges. Good overall condition. 

On the title page and front flyleaf, ancient ownership notations: שייך להחתן חיים אהרן חזן מווילנא". "….צבי נין ונכד להגר"א מווילנא". "קניתי מהוני ולכבוד צורי וקוני יוסף בהרב… יצחק זלה"ה מוואלוז’ין" – possibly, no other than the brother of the Gaon Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin. Inside the book, several lengthy glosses on the margins of the leaves.
