Midrash Psikta Rabbati, with a commentary by Rabbi Ze’ev Wolf ben Rabbi Yisrael Isser Einhorn. In the introduction to his book he writes that he received the manuscript from Rabbi Yaakov of Slonim, HaGra’s grandson, half of which was handwritten by his father Rabbi Avraham, HaGra’s son, and he also added his comments here on the leaves.
First edition of this commentary and Hagahot Rabbi Avraham ben HaGra – Breslau, 1831. [3], 79 leaves (Vinograd Gra no. 1398). Approbations by the Geonim Rabbi Akiva Eiger, Rabbi Zalman Tiktin, Rabbi Yaakov Folk, Rabbi Avraham Abli, Rabbi Yechezkel Favel, Rabbi Yissachar Dov of Vilna.
Old binding, leather spine. Restoration to the title page affecting the text. Moth perforations. Moth damage. Fair-good overall condition.
