Sefer Torat Kohanim, Shulchan Aruch of Tur Choshen Mishpat, two sections, with all its commentators the Rishonim, and added here for the first time, the first edition of HaGra’s elucidation. Copied from HaGra’s manuscript by Rabbi Yaakov Ginzburg – Konigsberg, 1855. Two section in two volumes: Section I: 6, 332 leaves. The illustrated hald-title is missing. Section II: [2], 342, 8, 9 leaves, including the illustrated half-title and a detailed title page with red lettering. Vinograd – Otzar Sifrei HaGra 756, Stefnasky Yesod 169.
HaGra’s elucidation on the Shulchan Aruch is different than his other books and is one of the only books that was copied from a complete manuscript by him and not compiled like his other books. Immediately after it was published, it was accepted as a basic Psikah book, even in places where he disagreed with the Shulchan Aruch.

On the margins of the leaves, many handwritten glosses and comments, some of them lengthy and significant. They indicate that they were written by a Talmud Chacham of stature who studied the book diligently and wrote down his novellae as well as his corrections. Most of the comments are on volume I.
