Sefer Megaleh Amukot on the Torah, by one of the first and greatest Kabbalists of Ashkenaz Rabbi Natan Note Shapira Rosh Av Beit Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Krakow, known as the Megaleh Amukot after this book.
Two sections in a single volume, first edition – Lemberg, 1795. Originally, [4], 86, [1], 102 leaves. In this copy, the title page of section II is missing. Stefansky Yesod 361/ Many important approbations by contemporary rabbis.
Bound at its end is another composition by the author, also titled Megaleh Amukot, a unique Kabbalistic composition elucidating in 252 ways Moses’ prayer in Parashat VaEtchanan. Third edition – Zholkva, 1800. [11], 73, [2] leaves.
No binding. The last part is detached. Blemished title page. Gnawing at the edges of the leaves. Poor overall condition.
On the title page, a stamp of the Churvah synagogue.
