Edited by the author’s son Rabbi Shem Tov ibn Walid. On leaf 214, a eulogy delivered by the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Yaakov Shaul Elyashar "after hearing about the passing of the great Rav the author…".
Yellow edges. Ancient leather spine. Minor stains. Fine copy in excellent condition.
The Meluban Rabbi Yitzchak ibn Walid (1777-1870) the Rav of Tétouan. One of the greatest Geonim and Sages of Morocco who was known by the title Ner HaMa’aravi.
On the upper part of the title page, a fine Sephardic dedication: " מנחה היא שלוחה לק"ק אשכנזים של עיה"ק ירושלים תובב"א ללמוד בו … מאתי הצב"י יאודה הלוי בן לא"א כמוהר"ר יצחק זלה"ה מעי"ת גיבראלטאר יע"א".
