Sefer Shama Avraham, the first book by Rosh Av Beit Din of Izmir Rabbi Avraham Palachi, the eldest son and successor of Rabbi Chaim Palachi. Single edition, in the author’s lifetime. With an approbation and foreword by his father Rabbi Chaim Palachi. The book contains responsa by Rabbi Chaim Palachi and by his father Rabbi Yaakov and by his son, the author’s brother, rabbi Yosef Palachi.
Printed in Salonika, 1850-1851. [6], 3, 32, 35-182, 31 leaves. Binding with moth perforations and some blemishes. Inside the book, moth perforations and stains. Wavy paper. Good overall condition.
2 lengthy, ancient glosses in Sephardic script opening with the words "ואני הצעיר משה בן אליהו…" Have not been examined.
