Sefer Midrash Shmuel, a commentary on Pirkei Avot (with the text) by the Kabbalist Rabbi Shmuel di Uzida of Safed ben Yitzchak, one of the disciples of the Ari and friend of the Ramak. In his book, he introduces some of the Torah of his great Rav, making his book one of the first books with the Torah of the Ari.
Zuan di Gara Press, with Bomberg fonts – first edition, Venice, 1579. 265 leaves. In this copy, leaves 263-264 are restored, significantly affecting the text, and the last page is completed entirely with fine calligraphic script identical to the origin. Stefansky Chassidut 39. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Lengthy introduction and preface by the author.
