By the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Shapira who was famed for his previous book Eliya Rabba on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim. First edition on the Shas – Furth, 1768. [2], 106 leaves. Approbations by the Nodah BiYehuda of Prague, the Korban Nethanel of Karlsruhe and more. 

varied engravings on the title page and on its verso and in other places inside the book. , the printer’s mark of Itzak Madpis. Old semi-leather binding. Loose front board. Blemish to the top of the title page, affecting the text. Stains. Healthy paper. Red edges. Fine copy. Good overall condition. 

On the lower part of the title page, an ancient Ashkenazic ownership notation with the name: "משה בן הירץ נאוויור". On the flyleaf, a lengthy notation referring to a Torah lesson that took place during the French Revolution. 

Most interesting! On the binding, a lengthy notation in a foreign language, has not been examined, with the Hebrew date  "נעשה ביום ב’ יט סיוון שנת תקמ"ז לפ"ק ווינצנהיים" in the heading.
