Lot 235:
Collection of seven letters Handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Shalom Michlovich of Brod. The letters contain mainly correspondence and agreements between Rabbeinu and the Beit Yehuda Institution which Rabbeinu headed.
The collection includes:
– Four letters handwritten and signed by Rabbeinu, to the managers of the institution.
– Two agreements, a protocol and report handwritten and signed by Rabbeinu.
– An agreement signed by Rabbeinu.
– Six letters by the managers of the Beit Yehuda Institution to Rabbeinu.
Size and condition vary. Good overall condition.
The Admor Rabbi Shalom Michlovich of Brod-Radvil, the son of Rabbi Yechiel Michk of Brod and the son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua of Bender. During the Holocuast lived in Bucharest and then moved to Rishin LeZion and Borough Park. Was a close Chassid of Rabbi Aharon of Belz and established a Talmud Tirah of Belz in Tel Aviv. He also established the Beit Yehuda institution for refugee children in Tel Aviv.
