Sefer Aleh DeYonah, scholarly commentary on Sugyot of the Shas from Seder Nezikin, by Rabbi Yonah ben Rabbi Moshe Binyamin Ze’ev Av Beit Din of Tarlo. First edition – Furth, 1694. [2], 62 leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Many approbations by leading rabbis of Moravia, Bohemia and Ashkenaz. Introduction by the author and beneath it an engraving of the printer’s mark [a pair of lions holding onto a palm tree], an engraved title page with a couple of signs of the Zodiac.
New binding. Stains. Minor scorches to the edges. Blemishes and creases. Tears to the edges of some leaves, some of them affecting the text. Good overall condition.
