Sefer Machberet Hakodesh, a Kabbalistic book, Kavanot for Sabbath and the Jewish festivals, additions to the Kavanot of Sefer Pri Etz Chaim "by the Divine Rabbi Chaim Vital as he received from his Rav the Ari … with much addition from compilations by the Chaverim". With additions by the greatest Kabbalists: Rabbi Natan Note Shapira the Megaleh Amukot and the Rema of Fano.
First edition that was printed according to manuscripts from the Beit Midrash of the Maggid of Mezeritch, edited by Rabbi Shlomo Lutzker, one of the leading disciples of the Maggid and one of the important writers of hi Torah. Koretz, 1783. [1], 152 leaves. Sifrei Yesod no. 348. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
The book was approbated by the learners of the Beit Midrash of Mezeritch headed by the Av Beit Din of the town Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Margaliot the in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Katz the author of Brit Kehunat Olam.
New leather binding. Varied blemishes. Some moth damage and some taping. Good overall condition.
