"ואקווה כי יהיה לך לשעשועים" Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick, author of Yad Yitzchak and Av Beit Din of Toltshva, one of the leading Meshivim of Hungary, addressed to Rabbi Chaim Brody Av Beit Din of Prague, with details about his books Yad Yitzchak and Be’er Yitzchak – Toltshva, 1905.

In his letter, Rabbeinu describes the printing of his books, informing Rabbi Brody that he sent him his book Yad Yitzchak and a section of his book Beit Yitzchak, "ואקווה כי יהיה לך לשעשועים".


Unique item – the letter was written on a small piece of paper, a sort of label the size of 4X12 cm.

One of the leading Meshivim of Hungary, the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Glick (1826-1909) a descendant of the Maharam Benet. Author of Shut Yad Yitzchak and one of the leading Poskim of Hungary. Served as Av beit Din of Toltshva for over fifty years. His books contain over 900 responses on varied matters. Many came to ask him for Semicha letters, so much so that there were communities that conditioned the position of Rav on receiving a Semicha letter from Rabbeinu. Rabbeinu also authored a series of book on the Shas titled Be’er Yitzchak.
