Sefer Netivot Hamishpat, the sharp, scholarly book of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov of Lisa. The book became an invaluable asset in the yeshiva world and the Psikah on the complex sugyot of Choshem Mishpat. Divided into two sections: Mishpat HaCohanim – novellae and Mishpat HaUrim – commentary. 

A second edition that was printed in the author’s lifetime – Zholkva, 1816. 129; [1] leaves. See: Stefansky Sifrei Yessod no. 186. Appearing on the title page is an interesting notation indicating the nature of the book and its contribution to the Torah world: "זאת לדעת שבכל מקום שנרשם בחידושים ובביאורים ציור כזו * מורה על דין מחודש שלא נמצא בראשונים ואחרונים רק המחבר המציאה בפילפול וסברא".

New binding. Moth perforations and damage. Taping to several of the first leaves and the two last leaves, affecting the text. Stains. fair overall condition.
