Siddur Torah Or with Sha’ar Hakollel, the Ari version, by the Admor Hazaken. Two sections.

Siddur Torah or Tfilot Yosrael, with all the Dinim and customs founded and decided by the Admor … Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi, author of Shulchan Aruch [Harav] and the Tanya. prayers for all year round, for the days of the week, the festivals and Yamim Nora’im, the Ari version. With the Passover Haggadah, the Sha’ar Hakolle composition, Ma’avar Yabok, Dinim and customs – the press of the Rom Widow and Brothers, Vilna 1896. Originally, [3], 5-188 [i.e. 187], [1]; 49, [48], 77 leaves. This copy is incomplete, without the first title pages and beginning only with leaf 9. Leaves 73-75 of the first pagination are missing (completed with leaves from a Hebrew Teitch small Siddur). 5 leaves at the end are also missing. The two title pages of the second section exist. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Books Collection. 

This Siddur was edited by Rabbi Avraham David Lawat (the Rebbe’s grandfather) and was divided into two sections with separate title pages. The first section includes only what was printed in the first Siddurim that were published in the Admor Hazaken’s lifetime. Printing errors of previous editions were also corrected and references to biblical verses and Ma’amarei Chazal were also added. Thus is was titled Siddur Torah Or. On leaf 72, a prayer for the Emperor. The second section is an additon that was not included in the first editions of the Siddur. At the beginning of the Siddur (originally), an approbation by the Maharil of Yanovich, the brother of Ba’al Hatanya. 

Ancient binding. Front board missing. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and many signs of usage. Wine stains on the Passover Haggadah. Fair overall condition. 

In the part of Kabbalat Shabbat, additional leaves were bound containing Shir Hashirim that was not printed here. These leaves are from a small Siddur with Hebrew Teitch, like the aforementioned completion.
