Background: the Rostov Siddur is a Siddur of the Ari version known today as the version of the Chabad Chassidim. Was printed by the order of the Rebbe Rashab in Rostov on the Don River in 1918. At the time, many Jews escaped Russia due to the civil war there and there was a shortage of Sifrei Kodesh and Siddurim. Rabbi Zalman idel Zusslin was assigned the task and he edited the Siddur and promoted its publishing.
