Typewritten letter on the official letterhead of Rabbi Yechezkel Feigin "secretary of the Admor Shalita of Lubavitch", the secretary of the Rebbe Rayatz, sent from Warsaw on the 9th of Tamuz 1934. Addressed to Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kupershtock – the Chassidic Rav of Glebokie.

The letter was originally enclosed with the Rebbe’s letter to the townspeople of Glebokie, a letter that he had started writing when he visited their town (apparently, a letter from the 6th of Tamuz announcing that all four Chassidic synagogues will be under Rabbi Kupershtock’s wing, see Moreshet auction 56, lot 255). The secretary notes: "איך להשתמש בו ואיך לפרסמו יבין כבודו בעצמו כפי דרישת הענינים…" and at its end, a mystery: "בטח יודיע כבודו הנעשה ועד כמה אמת השמועה שיצתה לפני נסיעתינו". The secretary then signs the letter "Yechezkel Feigin".

The trip supported the thousands who awaited his arrival and sought his advice. During the Sabbath, the Rebbe also delivered several Chassidic sermons at the Chassidic synagogues of the town.
