Lot 97:
Pedigreed copy – Gemara Brachot which had belonged to the son of the Akeidat Yitzchak of Alexander – Rabbi Yerachmiel Yisrael Yosef Danziger, and which was studied by him before the days of horror in Poland.
Appearing in the book are several stamps of Rabbeinu "Yerachmiel Yosef Danziger the son of the holy Rav the Admor Shalita Alexander".
Good condition.
The holy Rabbi Yerachmiel Yisrael Yosef Danziger (1913-1942) the second son of the Admor the author of the Akeidat Yitzchak of Alexander and the son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Natan David Rabinowitz of Partziva. It is told that when the Nazis abducted the Admor the Akeidat Yitzchak and put him on the train to Treblinka, his son jumped onto the train so as not to leave his father by himself on their way to the unknown.
