With the Baruch Ta’am comments by the Gao. Rabbi Baruch Frankel Te’omim Av Beis Din of Leipnik, the father-in-law of the Diveri Chaim of Sanz.
Printed in Lemberg, 1860. Seder Moed. (1), 22 (i.e. 26); 33; 2, 37-52, (1); 34, (1) leaves. According to the records, there should have been 25 additional leaves on Masechet Yoma. New binding. Many moth perforations. Some moth damage. Fair general condition.
On the title page a notation:
"Pinchas Teomim Frankel" and stamps of
Yehoshua Heshil Teomim Frankel.
On the flyleaf, additional notations by the above Rabbi Pinchas with the title "Av Beis Din of Bikovisk", "Here in Stropkov". Pencil notation: " Leibush Halberstam".
This copy had belonged to Tabbi Pinchas Teomim Frankel (1840-1874) the son of Tabbi Dov Berish Teomim Frankel Av Beis Din of Knienitch. Rabbi Pinchas was Rav of Bokovsk and in 1869 succeeded his father as Rav of Tzieshinov. Was the great-grandson of the Baruch Taam of Leipnik whose comments appear in this copy.
Was the son-in-law of the Admir Rabbi Yechezkel Halberstam, the Divrei Yechezkel of Shinova.
His second son was Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil Teomim Frankel (passed away in 1894), Rav in Spekov. Apparently, the stamps on this copy are his
