The Admor Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac Yehuda Yehiel Saprin of Komarna (25th Shvat 1806 – 10th Iyar 1874) was the son of Rabbi Alexander Sender of Komarna and son-in-law of
Rabbi Avraham Mordechai of Pinchov. At age 12 his father passed away and he was raised by his uncle, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zidichow, who became his rabbi and was one of the greatest students of the Ohev Yisrael of Afta. He succeeded his father in Komarna, where he became famous as a miracle worker and many came to him for his blessing. There is a special segula associated with those who own his books in their home. He wrote the Heichal Bracha on the Torah and many other books.
The title page has a note in pencil that the book was swapped by two brothers.
