Sefer Torat HaNazir, “chiddushim and exegeses on matters of nezirut organized according to the laws of nezirut of the Rambam”. The first work by the gaon Rabbi Yitzhak Hutner when he was 26 years old, from when he was a student at the Knesset Yisrael yeshiva of Slobodka and Chevron. The title page has a printed dedication from him “to my parents … given with love and admiration.”

Catalogued as rare by the NLI. Approbations from gedolim of the period: Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky, Rav Kook, Rabbi Avraham Dov Beer Kahana Shapira of Kovna. They express their wonder at the genius of the young man.
Following editions removed the approbation from Maran HaRav Kook.

The author, Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Yitzhak Hutner (1906-1981) served as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat Rabbi Chaim Berlin and was a member of the Council of Torah Sages of the USA. He was known as the Pachad Yitzhak (after the series by that name which he published, known for his brilliance and floral language and rich style). He led the yeshiva for many years as well as an additional yeshiva for youth and taught thousands.
He wrote the piyyut “Bilvavi Mishkan Avne”, inspired by a poem by Rabbi Eliezer Azkari, author of the Charedim.
