Holy of holies, for the first time at auction: a filament of straw from the bed of the Rebbe Elimelech of Luzhansk.
“For preservation, blessing, and success”, for the first time at auction, a piece of straw upon which the Tzaddik Rabbi Elimelech of Luzhansk slept.
A thin piece of straw, 1cm long, laminated inside a designed card. On the back is an explanation of the yichus: “I write word-for-word as I was told by our fathers…”. How the straw arrived in the heir’s family, an important and well-known family known for their possession of this holy item. At the end is the stamp of Rabbi Yitzhak Pesach Shmerler, shlita, a descendant of the Rebbe of Luzhansk.
