In the book “Luminous Art” by Susan Braunstein, on the channukiya collection at the Jewish Museum in New York, there appears a menorah made up of chairs. According to what was said there, it seems that the tradition of making Hanukkah objects from tin and lead solder castings was widespread in Germany, Bohemia and Eastern Europe. Sometimes children themselves created lead tops using this method. The channukiya in front of us is different, since it is made of silver. A similar channukiya appears in the museum collection in New York.
