Booklet in Yiddish: a report on the blessed work of the Keren HaYishuv of Agudas Yisrael in Israel, between 1934-35. Many pictures from their educational efforts, the first institutions of Agudas Yisrael and chalutzim of the Charedi agricultural communities.


Published by the Agudas Yisrael in Poland, Warsaw 1935. 64 pages. The back of the title page has the slogan: “Keren HaYishuv, the only fund for the construction of a religious Jewish Yishuv in Israel”. This fund was rare and exceptional in the Zionist landscape—on the one hand, a great portion of Haredi society boycotted Zionist ideas and as far as the Zionists were concerned all the organizations were secular. But this is also rare testimony to the beginning of the Haredi construction of the Yishuv between the two world wars.

Last leaves have subscriber names for the Keren Yishuv. Printed jacket on dark green paper. Title page almost detached, overall good condition.
