“A gift from my uncle the Rahatz Rav Leib shlita of Hornosteipel to me in 1901 in Kontikoziva”—Chiber LeTahara, which includes two works, the first on Netilas Yadayim and the second “Mikveh Yisrael” on halachot of mikvahs. First edition, Berdichev 1895.

The binding leaf and title page have stamps from Rabbi Nachum Rabinowitz of Kontikoziva, son of Rabbi Pinchas of Kontikoziva (the author’s grandson). The bottom of the title page has a handwritten inscription by Rabbi Menachem Nachum testifying that he received the book as a gift from his uncle Rabbi Ben Zion Yehuda Leib Twersky of Hornosteipel (see title of item).

Stains, a few worming holes, tears to the last leaf without missing part, loose binding, good condition.
The Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum Rabinowitz (1887-1959) was Av Beit Din of Haifa, and prior to that Rosh Yeshivat Koidinov in Berenowice, son of the Admor Rabbi Pinchas Rabinowitz of Kontikoziva, and grandson of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Hornosteipel. He was certified by Rabbi Chaim of Brisk and other rabbis. His divrei torah were collected in the work “Machshevet Nachum.”
