“I took it upon myself to gather holy maamarim from Maran Kadosh Yisrael of Ruzhin…which are still only passed orally by elder chassidim, and to write them down in order to share them with anshei shlomeinu…Moshe Yosef bar Yaakov Leibush Lerman here in Jerusalem.”

Interesting content in Hebrew and Yiddish gathered by the known chassid Rabbi Moshe Yosef Lerman, who is known better among Chassidei Boyan as “Rabbi Moshe Chazan”, who served as the baal tefilla of the “Tiferet Yisrael” Great Synagogue in Jerusalem, where he moved toward the end of his life. He was among those who educated the public regarding the ruzhiner nigunim and taught them his compositions and those of “Reb Pini Chazan [Spector]” and others.

12 pages. A few stains. Partial jacket binding. Overall very good condition. Rare.

Think booklet, unknown, absent in bibliographies. We didn’t find a copy in the public libraries and it is possible that it was published only in a limited edition.
