Sefer Yesod HaAvodah, a commentary collected from works by students of the Baal Shem Tov on prayers for throughout the year and Shir HaShirim. The author writes in his introduction: “and when it came to be that I had no sons…it arose in my heart to request remedies of chazal, so that one who has suffered (chavilot) could array against them chavilot (groups) of mitzvot…and for that purpose we brought into print a collection gathered from those who collected the Torat HaBesht and that of his students who drank from his waters.”

The bottom of every page has citations for the divrei torah on that page, works such as: Avodat Yisrael, Zot Zikaron, Likkutei Amarim, Toldot, Kedushat Levi, Or HaMeir, Ore’ach LaChaim, Duda’im BaSadeh, and many others.
