Sefer Or Torah, maamarei kabbalah and chassidus on parshiyot from the Torah, Song of Songs, Psalms, and maamarei chazal by one of the Besht’s greatest students, Rabbi Dov Beer the Maggid of Mezrich. Stefanski Chassidus #33.
The teachings of the Maggid of Mezrich were first printed in Koritz in 1781, in “Maggid Devarav L’Yaakov, Likkutei Amarim”, by his student Rabbi Shlomo of Lutzk. But these were not truly edited or organized—this book organized the Maggid of Mezrich’s teachings according to the parshiyot of the Torah, Song of Songs, Psalms, and maamarei chazal. Printed based on a manuscript owned by Rabbi Yeshaya of Dinowitz, Av Beit Din of Janov, a student of the Maggid of Mezrich and Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz. At the same time, most of the content itself is identical to what is included in “Maggid Devarav L’Yaakov”, except for a few changes in wording.
Originally 157 leaves, this is missing the first five leaves including the title page. Many worming holes, no binding, poor condition.
