By the author of the famous piyyut “Bar Yochay”. Rabbi Shimon Lavi was exiled in the Spanish Expulsion and was an important kabbalist of his generation, he wrote the sefer Ketem Paz (a commentary on the Zohar) as well as a number of songs including Bar Yochay which features an acrostic with the author’s name and is read throughout the Jewish world on Lag B’Omer and in many communities each and every Shabbos.


Originally [2], 281-448 leaves. This copy is missing leaf 281 and four leaves from the end of the book. Worming damage, tape with defects to the text, stains, fungal damage, poor to fair condition.
