Sefer Aderet Eliyahu on the Torah, the first work by Rabbi Yosef Chaim of Baghdad, the Ben Ish Hai. When he was leader of the Baghdad kabbalists, the Ben Ish Hai included several droshim on kabbalah, especially the yesod of Torat Gilgulim.

First edition, Livorno 1864. 174, [1] leaves. Catalogued by the NLI in the rare book collection. The author’s introduction opens with a pretty poem. Loose binding, stains, overall good condition.

The title page has a Mizrahi note of ownership: “Refael ben David Afrima.”
