Large manuscript, an unknown kabbalistic work called “Ore’ach Tzaddikim” and “Pikkudei Hashem” which is actually a copy of a commentary to the Chassidic kabbalistic work “Otzar HaChaim” (see below). Composed in Rada’a, Yemen. The author’s name appears: “Sa’adiya ben Salem ben Harun”—unknown identity, we did not locate in the Encyclopedia of Yemenite Sages. Composed in 1909.
Long and interesting introduction by the author, who writes: “And I saw words of the kabbalists regarding the sodot of the Torah and I saw the work Otzar HaChaim by Rav Yitzhak ben Yehuda (the Admor Rabbi Yitzhak Isaac Yehuda Yehiel of Komarna, author of many kabbalistic works), which he gathered from the words of the Ari and Rabbeinu Ish Elo-him the Besht and from the Tana Rabbi Shimon bar Yochay and the words of Rav Chaim Vittel, who received the true kabbalah…I saw the aforementioned work and my heart immediately awakened and my eyes gained wisdom…”. An extremely rare case in which a Chassidic book merited Yemenite copying.
The content was copied by the author’s son, who writes on the first and last pages a long and exciting and emotional note detailing his father’s biography and the suffering he experienced amidst migration from place to place, illness and remedy, and he finally settled in Rada’a and was buried there and eulogized greatly. Additional discoveries that were not checked thoroughly.
