Sefer Zion LaNefesh Chaya, known better by the abbreviation “Tzlach”, on Masechet Pesachim. A foundational work on Shas by Rabbi Yehezkel Landau, the Noda B’Yehuda. First edition, Prague. Stefanski Sifrei Yesod 79. 123, [1] leaves. Missing the title page and the first leaf, which includes the introduction. Tears in the margins, a number of places have light defects to the text, a few worming holes. Stains and tape to one leaf. Otherwise overall good condition.

Long, significant notes with stamps by “MS.Hirsch Fox Av Beit Din of Grosvardin and the area”, and additional stamp in a foreign language. These notes seem to be from Rabbi Moshe Zvi (Hirsch) Fox, the well-known rabbi of Grosvardin and student of the Ktav Sofer. There may also be notes from his father, Rabbi Binyamin Zeev, a student of the Chatam Sofer and the rabbi of Sered (Hungary). Some of the notes are cut off.
