Sefer Rosh Yosef on maamarei chazal in halacha and agadah, “from all the masechtot of Shas”, with pilpulim and drosh, by Rabbi Yosef ben Rabbi Yaakov (of Pintchov; he was Av Beit Din in Selz, Lithuania, and then in Tykocin. He was grandson and great-grandson of Rabbi Yaakov Faulk).


First edition from the author’s lifetime.
Only four books were ever printed at this printer! (See Friedberg, History of Hebrew Printing, 1937, p. 76). [1], 67 leaves. At the National Library and others it is catalogued in the Rare Books section. Many approbations from rabbis of the period from Lithuania, Moravia, and Ashkenaz.

Worming holes, brown stains, antique spine, overall fair to good condition.
