Typewritten letter on official letterhead of the Rebbe. From the first day of Rosh Chodesh Kislev 1952.
He writes: “I was stunned to receive the telegram that he had fallen from the 2nd story, and I’m sure by now his condition has improved and I wait to hear such good news, may Hashem return him to us and may he participate and get strength and spread it…waiting for such good news.” Signed by hand by the Rebbe.
Next to the recipient’s name the Rebbe added “HaKohen” and a comma. Envelope, stains.
