Buyer's premium:

1. Sefer Beis Yisrael, chiddushim and droshim on the Torah and moadim by Rabbi Yisrael ben Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Sadilkov (he was Av Beit Din in Skolen for forty years and then in Iasi) and Imrot Tehorot from the Baal Shem Tov of Mezhibuzh, as well as imrot heard by the author from tzaddikim like the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, who was his cousin. Published by the author’s son Rabbi Shalom Guttman, Av Beit Din of Iasi. First and only edition, Iasi 1908. [1], 55, [12] pages. Many approbations from gedolei hador, like Rabbi Meir Arik, the Maharsham of Berezany, and others from Hungary, Russia, and Poland. There is also a letter from the tzaddik Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin, sent to the gaon of Littin, the author’s father-in-law

2. Atzei HaLevanon, “a set of questions and answers regarding the four sections of the Shulchan Aruch” by Rabbi Yehuda Leib Zirelson, Av Beit Din of Keshnov. First and only edition (there is a facsimile edition based on this, published in 1992). Cluj/Klausenberg, 1922. [3], 2-117, 5 pages. Rabbi Hillel Posek came out against this book in his own Divrei Hillel, because Rav Zirelson would not permit a husband fleeing the USSR to remarry without a heter 100 rabbanim after his wife refused to leave with him, after he had sent her a get by the post.

No binding, light stains, overall good condition for both books.

Note of ownership in pencil on the title pages: “Yosef bar Moshe Zilberman.”
